Welcome! My name is Bianca and I am a Registered Horticultural Therapist with strong roots as a Recreation Therapist. Typically, you'll find me trying to ID a plant in the woods, showing off the smell of the latest herb I've grown, or trying to invite people into the unseen, meaningful moments nature holds.
I advocate for the recognition and necessity of this therapeutic approach in diverse settings, spanning from Long Term Care facilities to hospitals, schools, and beyond. My vision is to see Horticultural Therapy take root not only across this country but also around the world.
With a clinical lens, my goal is to drive a transformation within our healthcare system and communities, reinforcing the role that nature, plants, and green spaces can play in an individual's well being.
My HT practice varies from landscape design to supporting the elderly population in care, young adults in post-secondary and educational settings, as well as community and corporate nature workshops.
I believe Horticultural Therapy can provide boundless benefits to individuals, groups, and our communities, and I'd love to talk to you about how this service could connect to you.
